Lots of good girl friend time last Thurs. through Sun. Went on a Quilt Retreat at a place north of Lawrence, Kansas. Quilt designer and fabric designer Jo Morton from Nebraska was there to teach. Lots of fun, eating, laughing, drinking good things, sewing, sewing and sewing some more. Some very talented ladies made some very awesome quilts in the last year
This quilt is one I puchased in 2oo2. Each square was designed by a known quilt teacher/designer for the "Liberty Gathering" in Liberty,MO. I love it because each square is signed by the designer who made it.
The proceeds from the auction the quilt was part of went to the
Liberty Hospital Foundation "Project Treehouse". This is a seperate beautiful house adjoining Liberty Hospital, and is for people who have loved ones as patients in Liberty Hospital.
